Here is the offical herd ranking system.. This does not feature who is who just what is what!! And it also features information about each rank and requirements to become one.
Council ranks
Lead Stallion:Either battle for the rank or be a relative to the lead stallion or lead mare
Lead Mare:Be picked by Lead Stallion
Head warrior:Trustworthy exprienced warrior selected by Lead Stallion
Head Shaman:Has slight magical powers, preferred to be paitent and kind selected by both leaders
Head Ranger:They tend to be smaller and more agile and have to be able to move silently and swiftly. Also have to be able to conceal self. Also be very exprienced
Head Scout:Exprienced scout. Incredible speed and fast thinker.
Normal ranks
Herd member:The simplest of ranks. The Herd Members have no responsibility and spend most of their time grazing and chatting. And in times of trouble they are protected by the rangers, warriors, and scouts.
Warrior:The protectors of the herd. They are trained by the Head Warrior and other senior warriors. They tend to be stronger and need to be atheletic. They are to protect the herd borders and to help the herd in times of need.
Shaman trainee:There are only two shaman in the herd at a time. The shaman have a spirtual connection with the Ancestors and also have slight magical healing powers. When not using their little magic they use their knoledge of herbs and mixtures.
Rangers:This rank is a little more mysterious to the average herd member. They are chosen in secret by the Head Ranger. They are similar to scouts but they have much more responsibilty. They are used as spies and other things. They tend to be smaller then the average equine. They are masters at moving swiftly and still being unseen. And they learn to conceal themselves after years of practice.
Scouts:They are quite similar to a Ranger except they are used more for messages. They picked by their speed and agility. They tend to be smaller. They are mainly used for deliviering messages and scouting out battlegrounds. Sometimes like a Ranger they can be used for spy but rarely ever. Also unlike a Ranger they are known to the herd.
